Frankfurter Buchmesse Special Edition of "Possible Poetry" in Cooperation with Radio X Frankfurt in relation to Bookfair Guest of Honor Slownia. Talk in English. Guests are Nika Kovač (from Slovenian cultural organisation "Pionierski Dom" & Veronica Dintinja,poet and Slovenian representative of "Poets of Today - Voices of tomorrow". Nika tells us about the educational organisation "pionierski dom" in Slowenian & the extraordinary international project project "Poets of Today - Voices of Tomorrow" involving young Poets from five different countries. Veronika is a well known poet and organiser of events for young poets from Slovenia. She is also part of the project. We present some of her poetry in Slovenian, English and German, talk about poetic motivations & the effects of poetry on her main job as a surgeon.

Felipe Cussen and Martin Bakero are two of the most important conteporary experimental poets and artists from Chile. Felipe is a conceptual poet/ artist and scientific researcher from University of Santiago de Chile. Martin Bakero is a Soundpoetry/ Performance Artist and Psychoanalyst from Chile now living in Paris. We had a truly deep talk about technology and artificial intelligence, about poetry as play, poetic decisions, negative poetics, transformation & transmutation, psychotic and schizophrenic experiences, the ethical position of poets, about the crazy connection of mystical experience and experimental poetry, about the inspiration of "not understanding" and "non-determination", about non-sense as an expression of "non serviam" and a poetry that goes beyond language. We also get a very concise introduction to the history and contemporary state of the experimental poetry scene in Chile and we learn about a powerful underground-connection between Writers Forum in London and the experimental poetry scene in Chile. We get introduced to a brandnew international network of experimental artists working between genres. And we finish off with an improvised sound poetry session. Aleš Šteger gehört zu den auch international bekanntesten Autoren und Kulturaktivisten in Slowenien. Sein Werk reicht von Lyrik, über Romane und Kinderbücher bis zu Reisebüchern, von multimedialen Performances zu Installationen und konzeptionellen Projekten. Gleichzeitig ist er Übersetzer, Verleger, Veranstalter und Leiter der europäischen Lyrikplattform Versopolis.

Ich werde internationale Gäste und Projekte vorstellen, die innovative neue Wege in der Poesie oder der Poesievermittlung gehen. Besonders interessiere ich mich für Rand- und Grenzbereiche der Poesie. Es ist längst Zeit, Poesie nicht mehr nach nationalen Zugehörigkeiten und Sprachen zu definieren.
