Vojtěch Němec (1983) is a novelist, scholar, literary journalist, critic, and essayist from Czechia.

He has published a “mosaic” novel "Opus Pictum", a cybernetic romanetto “Neocortext” for which he won the Bohumil Polan Award in 2019 followed by the eschatological novel "Nekropotence – death in progress". He is currently finishing a dystopian grotesque set in the near future, "Kompotace". He has published essays, reviews, fiction, and reports from public readings and several times a year he interviews a personality from the literary world. He has worked as a freelance editor for the literary magazine Tvar, and is currently employed as an in-house editor at Academia Publishing house.
